Julieann Strobel, 81, rural Denhoff, ND died Tuesday, November 19, 2024 at her home.

Julieann's funeral service along with her brother Harlo's funeral service will be held jointly at 10:30 a.m. on Monday, November 25, 2024, at First Baptist Church, Goodrich, ND. Julieann's burial will be in the Goodrich City Cemetery and Harlo's burial be in the McClusky City Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday, November 24 at Hertz Funeral Home, Harvey.

Julieann was born on March 30, 1943, at Harvey, ND. She was the daughter of Adolph and Doris (Suelzle) Triebwasser. She grew up on the family farm southeast of McClusky.  Julieann attended country school and McClusky Elementary and High School.  She worked at the Bismarck Hospital for several years.  Julieann married Roger Strobel on June 5, 1965, at the First Baptist Church in Goodrich.  They farmed and ranched north of Denhoff where she resided the rest of her life.  Roger died on April 8, 2022.   Julieann was a homemaker and enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, taking pictures, shopping, and her cats.  Julieann was a member of the First Baptist Church of Goodrich.

Julieann is survived by her sons, Rodney and Leslie Strobel of Denhoff; grandchildren Evan Pegors, Hannah Chamberlain, Kaylynn Chamberlain; sister, Joann Miller of Bismarck; nieces Kim Leingang, Karmen Freeman and Karen Miller; son-in-law Randy Pegors.

Julieann was preceded in death by her parents; husband Roger; daughter, Shelly Pegors; great nephew, Matthew Leingang; sister, Nancylou Triebwasser; brother Harlow Triebwasser; brother-in-law, Elmer Miller.
