Joyce Ann (Seibel) Faul, 86, passed to her eternal home on March 10, 2021 at the St. Aloisius Nursing Home in Harvey, ND.

Visitation will be on March 27 (Saturday) from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. followed by her burial at 3:30 p.m. at the Mennonite Brethren Cemetery, rural Harvey.

The funeral service will be on March 28 (Sunday) at 3 p.m. at the Cornerstone Community Church, South Campus.

Joyce was born in Harvey on April 4,1934, as the fourth child of Dr. Ludwig and Hulda (Graumann) Seibel. Her childhood home was next to the hospital and she often followed her dad and the nurses and nuns around the hospital. She attended Harvey schools and graduated from Harvey High School in 1952. She married Willis Faul and they moved to the Faul family farm south of Harvey where they farmed for the next 35 years. The Lord blessed them with four children--Willa, Jocelyn, Monte and Tamara. They moved to Fargo in 1989 and lived there until 2019, when Joyce entered long-term care in Harvey due to her declining health.

Joyce was an accomplished organist and pianist who served faithfully at the Harvey Mennonite Brethren Church and Salem Evangelical Free Church in Fargo as well as accompanied many school events, weddings and funerals. In addition to helping in the daily farming operation, she loved to be outside, tending to her flowers. A well maintained and landscaped yard was a great joy to her.

Upon retiring from the farm, Joyce began a 20-year part-time job as a greeter at Walmart in Fargo. She enjoyed meeting new people and welcoming the kids with a sticker and a smile. She was an avid NDSU Bison fan and Teammaker--never missing a football or basketball game for many years.

Joyce's greatest legacy is her deep and abiding faith in God. She had a passion for sharing the love of Jesus with those around her. She loved being involved in the ministries of Fellowship of Christian Athletes, Campus Crusade for Christ, International Student Ministries and Christian Women's Club. Through the years, Joyce hand wrote dozens of letters to missionaries each Christmas as well as entertained and mentored many international students in her home.

Joyce is survived by her husband of 69 years, Willis, of Harvey, ND; four children, Willa Macomber, Paradise, CA; Jocelyn (Stan) Wiens, Fargo, ND; Monte (Janet), Harvey, ND; Tamara (Tim) Reimche, Scottsdale, AZ; 12 grandchildren, Greta Macomber, Aaron (Tesa) Macomber, Megan (Heath) Jarrett, all of Chico, CA; Joshua (Jayna) Wiens, Bismarck, ND, Jadon (Brynn) Wiens, Golden, CO; Jessica (Matt) Kosak, Fargo, ND, Lindsay (Jared) Reese, Kingfisher, OK, Abby (Dusty) Buchmiller, Harvey, ND, Alec Reimche, Harvey, ND, Braden, Calem, Christina Reimche, Scottsdale, AZ. Joyce is also survived by 22 great grandchildren, and her sister, Doris Faul, Newton, KS.

Joyce was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Dr. Glenn Seibel, sister, Elaine Pomeroy, and son-in-law, Steve Macomber.

Joyce's family wishes to express their sincere appreciation to the nurses and staff at the St. Aloisius Nursing Home and at Bethany on 42 ^nd in Fargo.
