Johanna Rademacher Gagne, 95, Minot Formerly of Anamoose died Wednesday, September 14, 2016 in a Minot Nursing Home.

Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, September 20, 2016 at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church, Anamoose, ND.

Visitation will be held for one hour prior to the service at the church.

Burial will be in the church cemetery.

Johanna was born on May 12, 1921 near Balta, ND to Anton and Rose (Keller) Goldade. She grew and attended school in the Orrin and Selz areas. Johanna married Herbert Rademacher on January 26, 1942. They lived and farmed southwest of Anamoose. The family moved into Anamoose in 1958. Johanna worked as a housekeeper for several Anamoose families. Herbert died on September 4, 1978. Johanna married Louie Gagne in 1980 and they made their home in Minot. He died in 1985 and she continued to live in the Henry Towers until moving to Trinity Nursing Home of Minot in 2013.

Johanna enjoyed playing cards, board games, and Bingo. She also liked to go fishing.

Johanna was a member of St. Leo's Catholic Church in Minot and was a former member of St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church in Anamoose. She was a member of the Minot Senior Citizens; Lifetime member of the VFW Auxiliary in Minot and the Wells Eagles Aerie Auxiliary in Harvey.

Johanna is survived by a daughter, Marjorie Rademacher of Minot; two sons, Anthony "Tony" Rademacher of New Rockford and Douglas (Kathy) Rademacher of Anamoose; ten grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; a sister, Agnes Wagner of Bismarck; two brothers, Daniel Goldade of Bismarck, Valentine Goldade of Harvey.

Johanna was preceded in death by her parents; husbands, Herbert and Louie; daughter, Gloria Wacker; three sisters, Mary Wentz, Rose Keller, Christine Feldman; seven brothers, Pete, Tony, Clifford, Alfred, John, Joe including an infant brother named John.
