Jill Liebelt, 72, Harvey, ND died Thursday, Feb. 15, 2024 at the St. Aloisius Nursing Home.  Hertz Funeral Home, Harvey, ND.

Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday, February 19, 2024 at the Hertz Funeral Home, Harvey.  Visitation will be held one hour prior to service time.  Burial will be in the Sunnyside Cemetery, Harvey, ND.

Jill was born on January 6, 1952 in Harvey to Helmuth and Jacquelyn (Bailey) Liebelt.  Her early childhood was spent in Harvey and she attended the Harvey Public School.  The family moved away and lived in Evanston and Saratoga WY, Leadville, CO, Moab, Utah and moved back to Harvey in 1968.  Jill lived at home with her parents and was a daycare provider for many area children over the years.  Jill later became a client at HAV-It in Harvey and one of her job sites was working at the Harvey Senior Citizens.  She retired and entered the St. Aloisius Nursing Home in Harvey in 2017.

Jill enjoyed traveling and vacationing with her parents, walking and was known for making decorative hangers for family and friends.

Jill was a member of the United Methodist Church in Harvey.

Jill is survived by her brother, Tim of Harvey; sisters, Jody (Mervin) Thingvold of Harvey, Jan (Mark) Demke of Goodrich; numerous nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.

Jill was preceded in death by her parents.
