Jay Boardman, 75, of Anamoose died Thursday, May 30. 2024 at his home.

Jay was born on March 11, 1949, in Wisconsin.  He was the son of Willis and Arleva "Betsy" (Swim) Boardman.  He grew up in Wisconsin.  Jay then entered the Marines and served during Vietman.  He then moved to North Carolina and then to Alaska in 1978 where he worked for the Department of Corrections in Alaska.  Jay then moved to North Dakota and worked for Helm Flying, Harvey Ready Mix and Susag Sand and gravel all of Harvey.

Jay is survived by his daughter, Ronnette Parker and son, Jay Boardman Jr.; both of Alaska; brothers, Arlyn, Leroy, Ervin, and Thomas James.  Arrangements with Hertz Funeral Home of Harvey.
