Janiece (Bauerle) Overland, 77, Harvey, ND died Friday, January 19, 2018 at the St. Aloisius Hospital in Harvey. Janiece had just moved to Harvey from Hawaii.

Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, January 26, 2018 at the New Life On Main Church, Harvey, ND.

Janiece Diane Overland was born on June 15, 1940 at Devils Lake, ND.  She was the daughter of Harry and Bella (Ellingson) Overland.  She grew up in the Churchs Ferry area and graduated from high school there.  She was once married to Duane Bauerle.  Three children were born to this union, Kerry, Lisa and Tawni.  The family lived and farmed in the Churchs Ferry area.  Janiece started taking college courses at the University of North Dakota and received a degree in social work there.  She later received a Masters Degree.  Janiece was a clinical social worker and was employed in Jamestown, ND, Madison, WI and Gaithersburg, Maryland.  She moved to Hawaii and retired in 2012.   She lived on the islands of Kauai and the big island of Hawaii.  She was in the process of moving to Harvey.  Janiece received many awards during her social work career.

Janiece is survived by her son, Kerry (Jackie) Bauerle of Harvey; daughters, Lisa Supan of Pahoa, Hawaii and Tawni (Rob) Irvine of Pahoa, Hawaii; six grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren.

Janiece was preceded in death by her parents.
