James Fry 47 of Selz died Sunday October 13, 2013 near Martin, ND.
Funeral services will be held at the First Lutheran Church of Harvey on Thursday October 17 at 10:30 a.m.
Visitation will be held at the Hertz Funeral Home of Harvey on Wednesday from 2 p.m. to 7 p.m.
Prayer services will be held on Wednesday at 7 p.m. at the Hertz Funeral Home of Harvey.
Burial will be held at the Sunnyside Cemetery, Harvey.
James was born on October 26, 1965 in Harvey. He was the son of James and Shirley (Kleven) Fry. He grew up on the family farm near Heimdal and attended school in Harvey. He graduated from Harvey High School in 1983. He then farmed the family farm until 1999. James started to work for Selz Grain and also worked part time for Helm Flying in Harvey. He was then employed for a short time for Earth Harvest Mills in Harvey. James was currently employed by Anderson Seeds in Selz which is now Legumex Walker Sunflower. He was also currently working part time for Muscha farms. James was once married to Nancy Engen.
James was a member of the Wells Eagles Aerie #3080 of Harvey and Hoff Lutheran Church of Heimdal, ND. James enjoyed bowling, fishing, hunting, watching NASCAR and was an avid Minnesota Vikings and Twins fan.
James is survived by his children, Jessica, Nicholas, Andrew all at home; mother, Shirley of Harvey; his children's mother, Nancy Engen of Harvey; step-daughter, Amanda and her husband
Adrian Lies of Harvey; two step-grandchildren, Wyatt and Kristopher Lies both of Harvey; brother, Jon Fry and his wife Misty of Moorhead, MN; sisters, Laurel Fry Larsen and her husband, Brian of Burnsville, MN, Tamara and her husband, Anthony Monroe of Tempe, Arizona, Kimberly Fry of Medford, Oregon, Amanda Fry of Fargo, ND; numerous nieces and nephews.
James was preceded in death by his father, James Edward Fry.
