Iziah "Izzy" Walden, 16, Harvey, ND formerly of Gwinner died Friday September 6, 2013 near Harvey.
Funeral services will be held 10 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 12 at the Gustaf Adolf Lutheran Church in Gwinner, ND.
Burial will be in the Gwinner Cemetery.
Visitation will be Tuesday from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. at First Lutheran Church with a public prayer service at 7 p.m. at the First Lutheran Church, Harvey, ND.
There will be visitation Wednesday from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. with prayer services at 7 p.m. at the Gustaf Adolf Lutheran Church in Gwinner.
Iziah Austin Walden was born October 12, 1996 at Breckinridge, MN and was the son of Scott A. and Amanda (Erickson) Walden. Iziah was baptized at the Gustaf Adolf Lutheran Church. He attended grade school in Gwinner and participated in football and track in Junior High. The family moved to Harvey in 2010. Iziah attended high school there. He participated in the football, wrestling and track programs at the school. Iziah was also a member of FCCLA and FFA. His hobbies included four-wheeling, fishing, hunting, video games, playing pool and playing card games like poker and Texas Hold'em. He was a Junior Fireman on the Harvey City Volunteer Fire and Rescue Department.
Iziah is survived by his parents, Scott and Amanda of Harvey; sister, Jillian at home; maternal grandparents, Jerry and Peggy Erickson of Gwinner; paternal grandparents, Linda Walden of Forman, ND, Jim and Kristi Walden of Oakes, ND; two uncles; one aunt and numerous cousins and friends.
