Ida Neff, 93, McClusky, ND died Saturday, October 22, 2011 at Medcenter One Hospital of Bismarck. Funeral services will be held at the United Methodist Church of McClusky on Friday October 28, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. Visitation will be held at the Hertz Funeral Home of McClusky on Thursday October 27, 2011 from 2:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Burial will be held at the McClusky City Cemetery of McClusky.

Ida was born northeast of McClusky on October 6, 1918. She was the daughter of August C. and Mathilda "Tillie" (Hoffer) Herr. She grew up and attended rural school near McClusky. Ida married Arthur Neff on November 6, 1936 in McClusky. They lived and farmed near McClusky. They built a home in McClusky and moved into McClusky on October 14, 1974. Arthur died on October 14, 1980. Ida was a member of the United Methodist Church of McClusky. Ida enjoyed quilting, gardening, cooking for family and friends and sharing her flowers with the community.

Ida is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Diane and Mike Bauer of Bismarck, ND; two sons and one daughter-in-law, Wilbert "Willie" Neff and Darry (Bev) Neff all of McClusky; three grandchildren, Dawn (Dan) Johnson, Darren Neff, Darryl (Kris) Neff; step-grandchildren, Stacey Bauer, Shelley Gross, Shannon Nodland; eight step-great-grandchildren; two step-great-great-grandchildren; brother, Edwin (Louise) Herr of Bismarck; sisters, Alice (LeRoy) Lauer of McClusky, Darlene (John) Finstad of Detroit Lakes, MN; brother-in-law, Gerald Boelter of Detroit Lakes, MN; sisters-in-law, Emma Herr of Garrison, Doris Lawson of Mesa, AZ; Ida was preceded in death by her parents; husband; brothers, Clarence Herr, Alfred Herr, Louie Herr, Reuben Herr; sister, Bertha Boelter.
