Obituary

Harlo D. Triebwasser, 70, rural McClusky, ND died Tuesday, November 19, 2024 at Sanford Medical Center in Bismarck.

Harlo's funeral service along with his sister Julieann Strobel's funeral service will be held jointly at 10:30 a.m. on Monday, November 25, 2024, at First Baptist Church, Goodrich, ND. Julieann's burial will be in the Goodrich City Cemetery and Harlo's burial be in the McClusky City Cemetery.

Visitation will be Sunday, November 24 from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. at Hertz Funeral Home, Harvey, ND.

Harlo was born on October 4, 1954, in Turtle Lake, ND.  He was the son of Adolph and Doris (Suelzle) Triebwasser.  He grew up on the family farm southeast of McClusky.  Harlo attended school in McClusky and graduated from McClusky High School in 1973.  He attended Hansen's Mechanical Trade School in Fargo and after completing the program he moved back to the family farm.  Harlo worked at Cenex in McClusky for several years.  He continued his mechanic work for area farmers.  Harlo loved visiting with people and spending time with friends and family. When his nieces and nephews were young many hours of Monopoly were played along with other board games.  Harlo also enjoyed his Coke.

Harlo is survived by his sisters, Julieann Strobel of Denhoff (who passed away later on Tuesday) and Joann Miller of Bismarck; nephews Leslie and Rodney Strobel; nieces Kim Leingang; Karmen Freeman and Karen Miller.

Harlo was preceded by his parents; sister, Nancylou; niece, Shelly Pegors; great nephew, Matthew Leingang; brothers-in-law, Elmer Miller and Roger Strobel.
