Glennis Muscha, 81, Harvey, ND died Wednesday, September 23, 2020 at her home.  Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, September 26, 2020 at St. Cecilia Catholic Church, Harvey, ND.  Visitation will be from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Friday, Sept. 25 followed prayer service at 7 p.m. at St. Cecilia Catholic Church, Harvey, ND.  Burial will at 11 a.m. Monday, Sept. 29 at the Fargo National Cemetery.

Glennis Joyce Mertz was born in Goodrich, ND on October 6, 1938, to William and Melita (Anhorn) Mertz.  Glennis attended Mertz's School #1 and Nelson School #2, in rural Denhoff, until 8 ^th Grade, at which time she moved to Harvey and started working at Kirton's Cafe.  While living in Harvey, Glennis met Bennie Muscha.  Bennie and Glennis were married on October 24, 1957 in Harvey, ND. Bennie and Glennis made their home in Harvey and soon after they started their family.  Bennie and Glennis had 9 children.  Besides raising their own children, Glennis and Bennie often opened their home to others.   Glennis also worked at the Harvey Bakery and did in-home daycare for many years.  Glennis was a member of the St. Cecilia Catholic Church and helped at many church functions throughout the years.  Glennis enjoyed spending time with her family, attending many birthdays, baptisms, confirmations, graduations, and wedding celebrations.  She also looked forward to attending the annual Mertz Family picnic.

Glennis had many hobbies, including collecting dolls, angels and antique glassware.  Glennis was a wonderful gardener.   You could see her passion in the beautiful flowers and plants she grew.  Through the years Glennis grew and canned many fruits and vegetables so her family could enjoy them throughout the year.

Glennis is survived by Bennie, husband of 62 years and her children, JoAnn (Dean) Schneibel of Fargo, Chuck (Dawn) Muscha of Killdeer, Brian (Laura) Muscha of Harvey, Julie Muscha (Roger Earl) of Deephaven. MN, Nancy (Dan) Kanwischer, West Fargo, Ben (Carmen)Muscha, Tempe, AZ, Joyce Schmaltz, Casselton, Pam (Jim)Foss, Casselton and daughter-in-law Rita Muscha, Williston, ND.  As well as 24 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren, 6 brothers and 1 sister.

Glennis was preceded in death by her parents; 3 brothers; 2 sisters; son, Craig Muscha; son-in-law Robert Schmaltz, and 3 grandchildren and 1 great-grandson.
