Glen J. Moen Sr., 60 of Valley City, formerly of Carrington died Saturday October 1, 2016 at the Sheyenne Care Center Nursing Home in Valley City.

Funeral services will be held at the Trinity Bethany Lutheran Church of Harvey on Friday October 7, 2016 at 10:30 am.

Interment will be in the Hillsdale Cemetery of Harvey.

Glen was born on April 9, 1956 in Harvey. He was the son of Lester and Marlene (Holzer) Moen. Glen grew up and attended school in Harvey. Glen worked for various businesses in Harvey until moving to Fessenden where he worked for an area farmer Larry York. Glen then moved to Carrington where he worked for the Carrington Pasta Plant. Due to health reasons he retired and moved to Jamestown in 2010. Glen was avid Coke products collector and enjoyed playing cards.

Glen is survived by his son, Glen Jr. and his wife (Debbie) of Page, ND; (3) grandchildren; three sisters and two brothers-in-law, Gail and Eugene Gross of Chaseley, Ilean and Alvin Gross of McClusky, Lillian James of Bouse, AZ; two brothers and sister-in-law, Leslie and Kim of Harvey, James of Carlin, NV; several nieces and nephews. Glen was preceded in death by his parents; brother, John.
