Gladys Ruth Werth 89 of Harvey died Saturday, June 26, 2010 at the St. Aloisius Nursing Home in Harvey.

Funeral services will be Thursday at 2:00 p.m. at the Seventh-day Adventist Church, Harvey, ND.

Visitation will be Wednesday from 2 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Hertz Funeral Home, Harvey.

Burial will be in Sunnyside Cemetery, Harvey, ND.

Gladys was born on October 15, 1920 near Manfred, ND to Gottlieb and Odelia "Tillie" (Mertz) Anhorn. She grew up and attended school near Manfred. Gladys was united in marriage to Adam Werth on October 1, 1940 in Harvey. The lived in Lehr, ND and Lodi, CA before moving back to Lehr where they farmed. They returned to the Harvey area in 1945. Gladys and Adam lived and farmed southwest of there. Gladys took an active part in the farming operation. Adam died on July 13, 2000. Gladys moved into Harvey later in 2000. She was a member of the Seventh-day Adventist Church of Harvey. Her hobbies included gardening and working puzzles. The time she spent with her great nieces and great nephews was precious to her.

Gladys is survived by one brother, Erven Anhorn of Harvey; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; son, husband, Adam; son, Robert; brothers, Raymond and Art; sister, Esther Alexander.
