Geraldine Buxie, 90, of Harvey formerly of Anamoose, died Tuesday, October 15, 2024, at the St. Aloisius Nursing Home of Harvey. Funeral services will be held at Hertz Funeral Home of Harvey on Monday, October 28, 2024 at 7:00 p.m. Arrangements are with Hertz Funeral Home of Harvey.

Geraldine was born on April 3, 1934, in St. Paul, Minnesota.  She was the daughter of Mary "Buxie" Altman.  Gerry grew up in Anamoose and graduated from Anamoose High School in 1952.  Shortly after high school Gerry moved to Minneapolis, MN and worked in a bank for several years.  Gerry then moved to Alameda, California continuing to work at Wells Fargo Bank until retirement.  Gerry was a caring person and loved to do yard work for her elderly friends.  She moved back to Anamoose in 2022.  Gerry spent a short time in the St. Aloisius Nursing Home in Harvey.  Gerry is survived by several cousins and several friends.
