George Koble, 76 of Harvey died Thursday May 31, 2012 at the St. Aloisius Medical Center of Harvey.

Funeral services will be held at the St. Cecilia Catholic Church in Harvey on Monday, June 4, 2012 at 10:30 a.m.

Visitation will be at Hertz Funeral Home, Harvey on Sunday from 2:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.

Prayer services will be held on Sunday at 7:00 p.m. at the Hertz Funeral Home, Harvey.

Burial will be in the church cemetery.

George was born on December 23, 1935 near Orrin, ND. He was the son of Joseph and Elizabeth (Reiter) Koble. He grew up on the family farm and attended rural school. He farmed with his father for a time before he moved to Minot where he worked in a lumber yard. He started working on construction at the missile sites near Nekoma, ND. George moved to Harvey in 1961. He worked for many years for Harvey Sand and Gravel before retiring.

George was a member of the St. Cecilia Catholic Church in Harvey. He enjoyed having coffee with his friends, taking care of his cars and an occasional trip to the casino.

George is survived by two brothers, Wendelin (Rose) Koble, Edward (Helen) Koble all of Harvey; two sisters, Irene (August) Pfeiffer of Devils Lake and Delores Vetter of Minot; numerous nieces and nephews.

George was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Elizabeth Becker.
