Gary Weinmann, 72, of Harvey died Sunday July 26, 2026 at his home.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, July 31, 2026 at 10:30 a.m. at the First Lutheran Church of Harvey.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 30, from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. at the Hertz Funeral Home of Harvey.

Burial will be in the Greenwood Cemetery in Thief River Falls, Minnesota.

Gary was born on April 11, 1954 in Harvey. He was the son of Vincent and Adeline ( Muscha) Weinmann. Gary grew up and attended school in Harvey. Gary started farming at a young age south of Harvey on the family farm with his parents, the 3rd generation family farmer. On, November 14, 1975, Gary married the love of his life, Carol Wagner in Harvey. They lived and farmed south of Harvey. Gary enjoyed his grandkids’ activities, and they meant more to him than anything else he did. He also enjoyed fishing, camping, and gardening. Breakfast in Harvey with Carol was a daily habit, as much for the visiting with the regulars as for the food.

Gary is survived by his, wife, Carol of Harvey; sons, Bob (Kaaryn) of Abercrombie, North Dakota, Scott (Allison) of Thief River Falls, Minnesota; 6 grandchildren, Hans, Ella, Ruby, Conner, Tess, Carlie; brothers, Dennis of Harvey, Curt (Marydean) of New Rockford, sister-in-law, Loretta Weinmann of Devils Lake; Gary was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Ron; sister, Laurie Wiedmeier; sister-in-law, Kap Weinmann.
