Fred Zeeb Sr., 100, of Bismarck formerly of Denhoff died Saturday May 8,2021 at the Missouri Slope Care Center in Bismarck.  Private services will be held at the Hertz Funeral Home in Harvey with burial in the Seventh-day Adventist Cemetery, Goodrich, ND.

Visitation will be held at the Hertz Funeral Home of Harvey on Thursday May 13, 2021 from 3:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m.

Fred was born on August 9, 1920 four miles south of Goodrich, ND to George and Christina (Ziegler) Zeeb. His mother died when he was ten years old and his father was remarried to Christina Ebel.  He attended country school.  Fred married Lorene Kreiter on September 17, 1941 in McClusky.  They lived and farmed in the Goodrich area until purchasing a farm south of Denhoff in 1955.  They milked cows, had range cattle and raised small grain crops.  He retired and continued living on the farm.  Lorene died on June 23, 2007.  He entered the Missouri Slope Nursing Home in 2013

Fred was a member of the Goodrich Seventh-day Adventist Church.

Fred is survived by a son, Fred, Jr. (Deb) of Bismarck; 11 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.

Fred was preceded in death by his parents; step mother, sons Kenneth and Gerald; brothers, Samuel, Raymond, Leo, Al and George; sister, Erna Koenig,  half sister, Violet Wetzell.
