Floyd was born in Goodrich, ND on October 2, 1939. He was the first child of Henry and Lillian (Manz) Schuh. He grew up on the family farm near Goodrich and attended rural schools nearby. He and his younger siblings enjoyed many activities together playing in the farmyard and often out in the pasture and up in the hayloft of the barn. As Floyd grew up, he began helping his father with the farming which included planting and harvesting crops, caring for livestock, and milking cows. He eventually took over the farming of the land and raised some cattle. In 1999, he moved to Harvey with his mother and cared for her until her death in 2002. In 2012, Floyd realized that he needed the Lord in his life and gave his heart to the Lord Jesus as his Savior. He was baptized and enjoyed many Bible Studies and other activities with Pastor Paul Dyck. Floyd also went on many vacations and sight seeing trips with his siblings and their families. He and his Uncle Henry took many trips together, as well.
Floyd is survived by his sisters; Arvadell (Charles) Leard, Luella (Darrell) Schelske, and Sally Schornack; brother Steve (Rosemary) Schuh and many nephews and nieces.
Floyd was preceded in death by his parents and brothers-in-law Edward Seibel and Don Schornack.
