Elwood "Donald" Faul
(February 11, 1940 - October 26, 2015)

Elwood "Don" Faul age 75 of Emily, MN formerly of Outing, MN died on October 26, 2015 at the Cuyuna Regional Care Center in Crosby, MN.

A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m., Wednesday, November 25, 2015 at the Hertz Funeral Home, Harvey, ND. Fellowship will follow the service at the Angelic Nook in Harvey.

He was born on February 11, 1940 in Harvey, ND to Daniel and Elsie (Rittmiller) Faul. Don graduated from Fessenden High School where he enjoyed track, football and basketball. Upon moving to Minneapolis he was employed by Tempco Manufacturing. Don married Patricia Shady in New York state and they lived in Apple Valley, Minneapolis and St. Paul, MN communities. They purchased and operated Faul's Sports Center in Outing, MN for 25 years. After selling the business, Don enjoyed driving truck for Tek Car Corporation. He suffered a stroke and lived in an assisted living center in Pequot Lakes, MN and later moved to the nursing home in Crosby, MN.
Don is survived by his wife, Pat, of Outing, MN; son, Dan (Kristi) Faul of Becker, MN; daughter, Darcy (Jeff) Fjosne of Perham, MN; four grandchildren; three sisters, Nancy Schneider of Goodrich, ND, Grace Schaar of Eden Prairie, MN and Marcella (Lane) Wacek of Olivia, MN; aunt, Arlene Rittmiller of Grand Rapids, MN.
Memorials are preferred to the Mennonite Brethren Church in Harvey, ND.
