Elizabeth Becker 83 of Harvey died Friday May 25, 2012 at the Heart of America Hospital of Rugby. Funeral services will be held at the St. Cecilia Catholic Church of Harvey on Thursday May 31, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. Visitation will be held at the Hertz Funeral Home of Harvey on Wednesday May 30 from 2:00 P.M. until 7:00 p.m. Prayer services will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday at 7:00 p.m.

Elizabeth was born on July 3, 1928 near Orrin. She was the daughter of Joseph and Elizabeth (Reiter) Koble. Lizzy grew up and attended school near Orrin. As a young woman she worked on the family farm. Lizzy married Joseph F. Becker on October 22, 1951 in Drake. They lived and farmed south of Drake for a time. They then moved to the Becker family farm east of Anamoose. Joseph died on February 18, 1976. Lizzy then moved to Harvey where she lived until moving to Rugby in October of 2004. Lizzy was a member of the St. Cecilia Catholic Church and the Wells Eagles Auxiliary both of Harvey. Lizzy enjoyed visiting and eating out with friends and family. Lizzy also enjoyed catching up on what her grandchildren were doing.

Elizabeth is survived by one son, James Becker of Mandan; two daughters and one son-in-law, Elaine (Duane) Reimche of Harvey, Darlene Weigel of Bismarck; two grandchildren, Brock Weigel and Brittney Weigel both of Bismarck; three brothers, Wendelin (Rose) Koble, Edward (Helen) Koble, George Koble all of Harvey; sisters, Irene (August) Pfeiffer of Devils Lake and Delores Vetter of Minot; numerous nieces and nephews.
