Edward Prince, 94, of McClusky, ND died Friday, October 20, 2023, at the Sheridan Memorial Home in McClusky.

Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, October 28 at St. John's Lutheran Church, McClusky.  Visitation will be from 9:30 a.m. until service time at the church on Saturday.  Burial will be in the McClusky City Cemetery.

Edward was born February 15,1929 at Pickardville, ND.  He was the son of Herbert and Helen (Booth) Prince. On June 4,1950 he married Evelyn (Jorgensen) at her parent's farm south of Pickardville, ND.  They lived in McClusky, Tappen, Bismarck, Watford City, Williston and in 1991 returned to McClusky.

He was a truck driver, drove McClusky School bus, also worked for Lehmann Trucking, Lasher Trucking and Steichen Trucking.

He is survived by his two daughters and son in-law, Lynn (Wayne) Helm, McClusky and Betty Platt of Englewood, CO; son Allan (Verlynne) Prince of Rapid City, SD; daughters-in-law Jeannette Prince of Denver, CO and Elaina Prince of Plentywood, MT.; nine grandchildren and sixteen great grandchildren; sister Andrea Kluck, Bismarck; brothers Herbert Prince, AR, Dean(Betty) Prince, Bismarck; James (Lillian) Wheatland, WY and brother in law, Bruce Jorgenson of Casselton.

He was preceded in death by his parents, wife Evelyn, sons Robert and Andrew; granddaughter, Tina Platt; sisters MaryEllen Swendsen, Polly Sparrow and JoAnn Sparrow.  Arrangements with Hertz Funeral Home of McClusky.
