Obituary

Edna Feickert Ebach. 97, Harvey, ND died Saturday, June 2, 2012 at the St. Aloisius Nursing Home, Harvey.

Funeral services will be Thursday, June 7, at 10:30 a.m. at the Faith Lutheran Church which meets at the Seventh-day Adventist Church in Harvey.

Visitation will be Wednesday from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Hertz Funeral Home, Harvey, ND. Burial will be in Sunnyside Cemetery, Harvey, ND.

Edna (Liebelt) Feickert Ebach was born July 31, 1915 twelve miles southwest of Harvey. She was the daughter of Rudolph and Maria (Schimke) Liebelt. She grew up on the family farm and attended the Pony Gulch Country School. Edna married Reinhold Feickert on October 10th 1934. They lived and farmed south of Martin. Reinhold died on March 13, 1969. Edna moved into Harvey and married Paul Ebach on October 12, 1974 in Harvey. Edna was the manager and secretary of the Village Apartments in Harvey for 22 years. Paul died on May 26, 2006. Edna entered the St. Aloisius Nursing Home in December 2006.

Edna enjoyed music, playing her organ, piano, guitar, and harmonica. Edna and her sister Hertha Alexander sang many events.

Edna was a member of the First Lutheran Church of Harvey.

Edna is survived by one son, Wesley (Leona) Feickert of Martin; three daughters, Ethel (Wade) Wallin of Coon Rapids, MN, Carol Warkenthien of Gold Canyon, AZ, Diane (Glen) Brose of Deming, New Mexico; 13 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; great-great-grandchildren; four sisters, Eileen (Hadley) Haugen, Fargo, Linda Lamm, Harvey, Verna (Wesley) Martin, Carrington, Ardella (Don) Kensok, Chaffee, ND; three brothers, Ray (Laura) Liebelt, Harvey, Marvin (Ethel) Liebelt, New York, and LeRoy (Betty) Liebelt, West Yellowstone. Edna was preceded in death by her parents, husbands, Reinhold and Paul; son, James Feickert; two grandsons, Mark and Darcy Feickert; three brothers, Wilbert, Arnold, and Helmuth Liebelt; sister, Hertha Alexander.
