Eddy Opp, 67, Minot, ND formerly of rural Lincoln Valley area died Saturday at the St. Aloisius Hospital in Harvey.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, October 15 at Hertz Funeral Home, Harvey.

Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to service time on Thursday at Hertz Funeral Home in Harvey.

Burial will be in the Lincoln Valley Baptist Cemetery rural Denhoff, ND.

Eddy was born on July 8, 1948 in Harvey. He was the son of Jacob and Elta (Lautt) Opp. He grew up and attended school near Lincoln Valley in a one room school house. He attended McClusky School through the eighth grade. Eddy worked on the family farm. He also worked in Minot for Auran Chevrolet, Ryan Chevrolet, Chinchilla Breeders Association and Floyd Construction.

Eddy enjoyed watching football, baseball and cooking shows. He enjoyed cooking for him and his brother.

Eddy is survived by two brothers, Larry Opp of Minot and Lloyd Opp of Harvey; several nieces and nephews. Eddy was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Arley, James, and Robert Opp; sister, Bernice Opp; nephews, Kelly Opp and Terry Opp; sisters-in-law, Sharon Opp and Eunice Opp.
