Doris Triebwasser, 96 of Harvey formerly of McClusky died Wednesday September 13, 2017 at the St. Aloisius Nursing Home of Harvey.

Funeral services will be held at the Hertz Funeral Home of McClusky on Monday September 18, at 10:30 am.

Visitation will be held on Sunday from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

Burial will be in the McClusky City Cemetery.

Doris was born on May 5, 1921 near Lincoln Valley, North Dakota.  She was the daughter of Jacob and Pauline (Wageman) Suelzle.  Doris grew up and attended rural school near Lincoln Valley.  Doris married Adolph Triebwasser on November 7, 1940 east of McClusky.  They purchased a farm several miles southeast of McClusky.  They lived, farmed and ranched in Whittaker Township, also southeast of McClusky.   Adolph died on December 13, 2005. Doris moved to the St. Aloisius Nursing Home of Harvey in the spring of 2014. Doris enjoyed quilting, crocheting, canning and gardening.  Doris was a member of the McClusky Seventh-day Adventist Church.

Doris is survived by one son, Harlo of McClusky; two daughters and one son-in-law, Joann Miller of Bismarck, Julieann and Roger Strobel of Denhoff; five grandchildren, Leslie Strobel, Rodney Strobel, Kim Leingang, Karmen Freeman and Karen Miller; nine great-grandchildren; sister, Frances Engel of Maynark, Arkansas.  Doris was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Adolph, daughter, Nancylou; granddaughter, Shelly Pegors; great-grandson, Matthew Leingang; son-in-law, Elmer Miller, and ten siblings.
