Dorian Anderson-Kruse, 56, of Drake, ND died on Monday, July 28, 2025 at his rural home.

Friends are invited to gather on Sunday, September 28 at 3 p.m. at Hertz Funeral Home, Harvey, ND for sharing of memories and paying tribute.

Dorian was born on November 8, 1968 in Turtle Lake, ND to Dennis and Bonnie (Hinsz) Anderson.  He grew up on the family farm south of Drake, ND.  While in high school he was able to join the North Dakota National Guard and attended boot camp between his Junior and Senior year.   He graduated from Drake High School in 1987. He lived in Minot for several years and served in the National Guard.  Dorian moved to the Twin Cities where he worked at the Radison in Bloomington and for Wildside Catering at the Xcel Energy Center in St. Paul.  He met his future wife, Stephanie Kuettner there.  They later moved to the family farm south of Drake.  Dorian and Stephanie were married on December 22, 2017, in Harvey.  Dorian was employed by Lelm's Implement and later High Plains Implement as a parts man.  He began working at the Pizza Ranch in Minot in July 2024.

Dorian is survived by his wife, Stephanie; daughter, Sandra (Josh) Nygaard of Pittsburg, PA; several relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents.
