Donald Schwaderer, 69, of the Altanta, Georgia area formerly of Anamoose died Tuesday, July 19, 2016 in a Norcross, Georgia health care center.
Memorial services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, July 23 at St. Martin's Lutheran Church, Anamoose, ND.
Donald was born on August 23, 1946 in Anamoose, ND to John and Erna (Pankow) Schwaderer. He grew up on the family farm and attended school in Anamoose. He served for two years in the U. S. Army and was stationed in Colorado. Donald was employed by Woods Power Grip of Laurel, MT for 20 years and retired in 2014. He had spent the last 18 months living with his daughter and family in the greater Atlanta, Georgia area. Donald's hobbies included wood working, stained glass, golfing and collecting guns. He was once married to Kari Krosbakken.
Donald is survived by a daughter, Nikki (Jim) Costelloe of Atlanta, Georgia; son, John (Bec) Schwaderer of Denver, CO; three grandchildren, Shannon and Ryan Costelloe, Rolin Schwaderer; sisters, Lyla (Duaine) Dockter of Bismarck; LaVerda (Don) Frey of McClusky; nieces and nephews.
Donald was preceded in death by his parents and a nephew, Barry Dockter.
