Donald Kraft, 58, Burkburnett, TX formerly of Harvey, ND died Tuesday, June 14, 2011 from cancer at a Wichita Falls, TX Medical Center.

The Memorial mass will be held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, June 21 at St. Cecilia Catholic Church, Harvey. Visitation was held in Burkburnett on Thursday, June 16 at Owens & Brumley Funeral Home. Burial took place on Friday, June 17 at Fort Sill National Cemetery in Elgin, OK.


Donald Leo Kraft was born on August 23, 1952 in Harvey, ND. He was the son of Sebastian and Betty (Burgard) Kraft. He grew up in Harvey and graduated from Harvey High School in 1970. He served his Country proudly in the U.S. Air Force as an Aircraft Electrician. He retired after 20 years and was currently employed at Sheppard Air Force Base in Wichita Falls, TX. Donald enjoyed camping, fishing, and riding his motorcycle.

He is survived by his wife Michaele, sons Christopher Kraft of Kodak, TN; Jonathan Ray of GA; Anthony (Jessica) Kraft of Monroe, GA; Colin Bucker of Wichita Falls, TX; and Terrance Kraft of Burkburnett,TX; mother, Betty Kraft of Harvey, ND; brother Terry (Cherie) Kraft of Bismarck, ND; sisters, Eileen (Mike) Kelly of Minot, ND; and LeAnn (Dan) Wilson of Fargo, ND , two grandchildren Cody and Katie, a niece and nephews Mike Jr. (Krista) Kelly, Savanah (Brent) Cantleberry, Bob Reynolds, Jordan Kelly, and Jersey Kelly, and great-niece and nephews Aven and Macklin Kelly, Lynden Reynolds, and Avery Cantleberry.
Donald was preceded in death by his father, Sebastian Kraft and one niece, Whitney Kelly.
