Diane Monge, 67 of Martin, ND died Thursday, December 14, 2017 at the St. Aloisius Nursing Home in Harvey.

Funeral services will be held at the First Lutheran Church of Harvey on Tuesday, December 19, 2017 at 11 a.m.

Visitation will be held at the Hertz Funeral Home of Harvey on Monday, December 18, 2017 from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m.

Burial will be in the Kief City Cemetery, Kief, ND.

Diane was born on June 17, 1950 in Kief, ND.  She was the daughter of George and Mabel (Hirchert) Pister.  She grew up on the family farm south of Butte.  Diane attended school in Butte and graduated from Butte High School in 1968.  Diane married Gerald Monge on February 19, 1970 in Velva.  They moved to a farm south of Kief until moving to Martin in 1974.  Diane entered the St. Aloisius Nursing Home of Harvey in 2014.

Diane enjoyed walking, cooking, reading, gardening, working on word puzzles and spending time with her grandchildren.

Diane is survived by her husband, Gerald of Martin; son, Travis (Jessica) Monge of Martin; daughter, Tami (Curtis) Peters of Bismarck; mother, Mabel Pister of Minot; seven grandchildren; sisters, Shirley Mock of Harvey, Mabel Moser of Minot, Margie Pister of Bismarck; brothers, George Pister of Minot, Bob Pister of Karlsruhe, Glen Pister of Drake.  Diane was preceded in death by her father, George Pister; daughter, Tracey Monge Eli; brother, Dale Pister.
