Deloris Martin, 89 of Manfred, ND died Friday, August 3, 2018 at her home.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday, August 8 at First Lutheran Church, Harvey.

Visitation will be from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. Tuesday at Hertz Funeral Home, Harvey, ND

Burial will be in Sunnyside Cemetery, Harvey, ND.

Deloris Iline (Erickson) Martin was born on March 8, 1929 in Crystal Lake Township south of Harvey to Sofus and Stella (Hanson) Erickson.  She attended a rural school south of Harvey.  Deloris married Johnny Martin on July 23, 1950 in Harvey.  They eventually resided on the Martin family farm near Manfred.  In addition to raising her four children, Deloris worked as a Certified Nursing Assistant at St. Aloisius Nursing Home in Harvey periodically before retiring in 2003.  Deloris lived for her husband, children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.  She enjoyed spending time visiting or playing cards with family and friends, and she thoroughly loved living on the family farm. Deloris was a member of the VFW Auxiliary in Harvey, ND.  She and Johnny were members of Trinity Bethany Lutheran Church in Harvey.

Deloris is survived by her children, Ronald (Marilyn) Martin, West Fargo, ND, Darryl (Marcia) Martin, West Fargo, ND, Jeffrey Martin, Harvey, ND, and Laurie (Neil) Faber, Stanley, ND; grandchildren, Krista (Pete) Zagorda, Orlando, FL, Jonathan (Kaitlyn) Martin, West Fargo, ND, Tessa Martin, Moorhead, MN, Teri (Brett) Winkelman, Fargo, ND, Eryn (Tony) Faber, Denver, CO, Ryan Faber, Stanley, ND; seven great-grandchildren; sisters, Florance Rose of Missoula, MT, Edna Helland of St. Paul, MN, Marcella Seibel and Mae Ripplinger both of Harvey; brothers Floyd (Lefty) Erickson of Harvey, Gordon Erickson of Mentor, MN; numerous nieces and nephews.

Deloris was preceded in death by her husband, Johnny; parents; sisters Gladys Heilman, Faye Heisler; brothers Morris Erickson, Melvin Erickson, Kenneth Erickson, Lloyd Erickson, and Jerry Erickson.

Deloris passed away August 3, 2018 at home in Harvey with her family by her side.  Blessed be the memory of Deloris Martin.
