Deanna Kukowski,75 of Las Vegas, NV formerly of Martin, ND died November 7, 2018 at a Las Vegas Hospital.

Deanna was born on May 12, 1943 in Harvey.  She was the daughter of Walter and Martha (Fiesel) Weinholz.  Deanna grew up and attended school in Truman Township north of Martin and graduated from Harvey High School in 1961.  Deanna attended Minot State University and received her Bachelors Degree in Elementary Education.  Deanna taught in the Harvey and New Town, ND.  Deanna moved to Las Vegas and taught there until her retirement.  While living in ND, Deanna and her mother took care of her father Walter during his battle with cancer.

Deanna married Kenneth Kukowski on April 18, 1993 in Las Vegas.  Deanna was a member of Martin Baptist Church.

Deanna enjoyed nature and the outdoors, and her latest passion was desert landscape and plants.

Deanna is survived by her husband, Kenneth of Las Vegas, and several cousins.  Deanna was preceded in death by her parents, infant sister, Geraldine; numerous aunts and uncles.
