Darry Neff 75 of McClusky died Saturday October 20, 2018 at his home in McClusky, ND.  Funeral services will be held at the Grace Lutheran Church of McClusky on Saturday October 27, 2018 at 1:30 p.m.  Visitation will be held one hour prior to service.  Interment will be in the McClusky City Cemetery.

Darry was born on January 11, 1943 in McClusky he was the son of Art and Ida (Herr) Neff.  Darry grew up an attended school in McClusky and graduated from McClusky High School in 1961.  Darry attended Bismarck State College.

Darry married Beverly Simonson on December 30. 1965 at Turtle Lake.  They lived in McClusky.  In 1971 they moved to their farm eight and half miles north of McClusky and farmed until 1985.  Darry also worked for Peterson Hardware, Monarch Stove Co., Buds Furniture, Hagen's Hardware and Polar Ware until retiring in June of 2010.

Darry and Bev were blessed with two sons, Darren in 1975 and Darryl in 1981.  They lived on the farm north of McClusky until August 2006 when they moved back to town.  Darry loved to hunt and fish and trying new things on the grill some were really good, and others were as Darry said won't try that again!  He loved to make jerky and to share with family and friends.  Darry was a member of the Untied Methodist Church of McClusky.

Darry will be deeply missed by his wife, Bev of 52 years; sons, Darren, West Fargo, Darryl, McClusky; brother, Wilbert of McClusky; sister, Diane Bauer, Bismarck, and her daughter, Dawn (Dan) Johnson, Bismarck; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Eddie and Wanda Simonson and their daughter, E-Dee (Jimmy) Piazza of Albuquerque, New Mexico, Duane (Amelia) Simonson and their son, Paul of Live Oak, TX,  and brother-in-law, Mark Simonson, Hugaton, KS; 2 godsons, John Noel Finstad and Tom Abrahamson; goddaughter, Annette Presser; aunts, Darlene Finstad, Alice (LeRoy) Lauer, Louise Herr; uncle, Gerald Boelter and many cousins.

Darry was preceded in death by his parents; father and mother-in-law, Edwin and Lorraine Simonson, niece, Melissa Schronk and brother-in-law, Michael Bauer.
