Darrin Haux, 57, of Harvey died Wednesday, March, 22, 2023 at the Sanford Hospital in Bismarck.  Funeral services will be held at the Chaseley United Methodist of Chaseley on Tuesday, March 28, 2023 at 2:00 p.m.  Visitation will be held at the Hertz Funeral Home of Harvey on Monday, March 27, from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.  Burial will be in the Chaseley City Cemetery in the spring.

Darrin was born on February 17, 1966, in Harvey.  He was the son of Darvin and Sandra (Adam) Haux.  Darrin grew up on the family farm northwest of Chaseley. He attended school in Bowdon and graduated from high school there in 1984.  Darrin farmed with his father for many years.  He was once married to Rhonda Knutson (1988).  They lived southwest of Chaseley on his farm.  Two children were born to this union Cody and Kimberly.  He moved to Harvey in 2010.  Darrin enjoyed fishing, working on vehicles and farm equipment.  He was self-taught in mechanics.

Darrin is survived by his children, Cody (Jennifer) Haux of Fargo and Kimberly Haux of Bismarck; grandson, Holden of Fargo; father, Darvin Haux of Chaseley; numerous aunts and uncles and cousins.  Darrin was preceded in death by his mother, Sandra; and an infant brother.
