Darlene Solin, 82, of Harvey died Friday December 22, 2017 at the St. Aloisius Nursing Home of Harvey.

Funeral services will be held at the First Lutheran Church of Harvey on Thursday December 28, 2017 at 10:30 a.m.

Visitation will be held at the Hertz Funeral Home of Harvey on Wednesday December 27, 2017 from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m.

Burial will be in the Sunnyside Cemetery of Harvey.

Darlene Ann Olson was born November 10, 1935 at Dunseith, ND.  She was the daughter of Will C. & Myrtle (Thompson) Olson.  She was baptized at Rendahl Lutheran Church & confirmed at Dunseith Lutheran Church.  She graduated from Dunseith High School in 1953.  She married Cyril Solin December 30, 1960 at First Lutheran Church in Fessenden.  She was employed at several banks in Fessenden, Stanley and Harvey, ND before becoming a homemaker full time.  She enjoyed gardening, crocheting, and scrapbooking.  She was a member of First Lutheran Church and its ELCW, and belonged to the VFW Auxiliary both of Harvey.

She entered St. Aloisius Nursing Home in Harvey, in August 2014.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Cyril, her two children, Ricky Solin and Becky Solin; brother, Norman Olson; sister, Clarice Dietz.
