Clark Wurtele, 74, of Bismarck Formerly of Harvey, died Thursday, May 18, 2017 in Bismarck.

Private services will be held at a later date with interment in Sunnyside Cemetery, Harvey, ND.

Clark Dennis Wurtele was born on December 31, 1942 at Steele, ND. He was the son of Otto and Hulda (Hoffer) Wurtele. He grew up in Streeter and graduated from the Streeter High School in 1960. While living in Harvey he was an owner and operator of a grain elevator and trucking company in Selz, ND. He later owned and operated the Roadside Antique and Grocery Store (RAGS) in Harvey for ten years retiring in 2002.

He was married to Marjie Ida Kinzler on December 23, 1961 in Jamestown, ND. Marjie died on December 6, 1984. Clark then married Darlene Gisi Adam on October 4, 1985 in Harvey. He continued to live in Harvey and also lived in Arizona, Riverdale and Bismarck.

Clark's hobbies included hunting, fishing and attending auctions and garage sales.

Clark is survived by his wife Darlene of Bismarck; daughter, Anita Lynn (Jim) Dusek of New Salem, ND; step son, Robert and Miranda Adam of Harvey; four grandchildren, Andrew (Sandy) Dusek, Lauren (Shane) Bennett, Shayla Adam and Waylon Adam; two great-grandchildren, Stryder Bennett and Harper Bennett; brother, Keith (Vonnie) Wurtele of Sturgis, SD; three sisters, Gale (Joe) Tillman of Spearfish, SD, Shirley Meidinger of Jamestown, ND and Claudia Dockter of Arnolds Park, Iowa.

Clark was preceded in death by his parents; his first wife, Marjie; brother, Duane Wurtele.
