Obituary

Cheryl F. Seibel 68 of Max formerly of the Denhoff area died Tuesday December 24, 2013 at the St. Aloisius Hospital in Harvey.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Thursday, January 2, 2014 at Hertz Funeral Home, Harvey.

Cheryl Faye Seibel was born on January 31, 1945 at Harvey, ND. She was the daughter of John, Jr. and Martha (Wiebe) Seibel. She grew up and attended rural school north of Denhoff and graduated from the Goodrich High School in 1963. She lived at home with her parents and helped out where ever she could, from working in the garden to helping around the house. She also painted crafts with her sister Brenda. Cheryl suffered from a neuromuscular disorder after receiving a vaccine at a young age. She courageously coped and enjoyed many of life's activities. She had been living at rural Max where she enjoyed her pet cats and living next door to her sister Brenda and Wilma.

Cheryl is survived by her brother, Clifford of Fargo; sister, Brenda Seibel of Max; sister of her heart, Wilma Lockwood of Max; aunts, Mary (Seibel) Hornbacher of Bowdon, Helen (Seibel) Pfaff of Anamoose.

Cheryl was preceded in death by her parents John Jr. and Martha; uncles, Edward, John, Henry, Reuben Wiebe and Henry, Alfred, Edwin Ernest, Elmer and Joe Seibel; aunts, Alma (Wiebe) Rodacker, Lorraine (Wiebe) Rodacker, Frieda (Seibel) Wanner, Viola (Seibel) Castellano, Della (Wiebe) French of Lodi, CA,.
