Carey L. Bartsch, 52, Anamoose, ND died Tuesday, April 12, 2011 at her home in Anamoose.

Funeral services will be Friday, April 15 at 2 p.m. at Hertz Funeral Home, Harvey. Visitation will Thursday from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. and Friday from 11 a.m. to service time at Hertz Funeral Home, Harvey.

Interment will be at a later date in Boca Raton, Florida.

Carey Leigh Hogue was born April 19, 1958 at Grand Rapids, Michigan. She was the daughter of Shirley Jean (Anderson) and Donald Barclay Hogue, Jr. Carey grew up in the Boca Raton, Florida area. She lived and worked there and also in the Florida Keys and in Kentucky. She moved to Harvey, ND in 2000. Carey married James V. Bartsch on January 26, 2007 in Towner, ND. They lived in Anamoose, ND. Carrie had been employed most recently at the Artos in Harvey and periodically at other area restaurants and bars.

Carey is survived by her husband, James, Anamoose; parents Shirley and Donald Hogue Jr. of Palm City, Florida, brother, Mark (Gayle) Hogue, Hudson, New Hampshire; three nieces, Amy, Tara, Kayla; one nephew, Mark, Jr.

Carey was preceded in death by a daughter, Chelsey when she was two and a half years old.
