Brad Patzer, 59 of Harvey, ND died Sunday, April 17, 2022 near Patzer Truck Repair. Funeral services will be held at the Harvey High School on Saturday, April 23, at 10:30 a.m. Visitation will be held on Friday, April 22, from 2 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the Hertz Funeral Home of Harvey. Burial will be at the Sunnyside Cemetery, Harvey.
Brad was born on April 5, 1963 in Harvey. He was the son of Harold and Theresa (Thompson) Patzer. He grew up, attended school in Harvey, and graduated from Harvey High School in 1981. Following graduation Brad went to work for Border States Paving where he later became a foreman and superintendent of the crew. He went on to work for Kuhn Manufacturing in Harvey for a time. Brad then started C&L Truck Repair in Harvey. After short time, he then moved to Spring Creek, NV where he worked for Ames Construction. Brad moved back to Harvey in 2003 and worked for Green Vision John Deere Implement. In 2016, Brad built his dream shop, Patzer Truck and Ag Repair in Harvey. Brad married Sheila Faul on July 13, 1985 in Fessenden.
Brad enjoyed fishing, drag racing, fixing cars, going to the casino, hill climbing, riding his motorcycle, and snowmobiling. Brad loved watching football every Sunday with his daughter Lacey. He was a super fan of the New England Patriots, the NDSU Bison, and of course the GOAT Tom Brady along with Tom's main man the Gronk. Brad's greatest joy was spending time with his granddaughter, Braylee, and being the glue to his family. Brad took great pride in his business and taking care of his customers day or night.
Brad is survived by his wife, Shelia of Harvey; daughters, Crystal (Brent) Holzer of Harvey, Lacey (Gustav) Grade of Martin; granddaughters Braylee Holzer, and one on the way; brothers, Jeff (Mary) Patzer of Spring Creek, NV, Kelly (Marie) Patzer of Elko, NV, Jamey Patzer and his children Megan, Nick, Nathan, Madison and Andrew, of Harvey, sister, Donna Patzer, Bonny Lake, WA, Linda Appelt of Surrey, sisters-in-law, Deb (Butch) Keller of Harvey, Bonny Lynn Faul all of Harvey; several nieces and nephews. Brad was preceded in death by his parents, and good friend Scott Muscha.
