Betty Berreth, 84, Bismarck formerly of Goodrich, ND died on Friday, January 20, 2017 at her son's home in Bismarck.

Funeral services: 11 a.m. Friday, January 27, 2017 at First Baptist Church, Goodrich, ND.

Burial will be in the spring in Goodrich City Cemetery.

Visitation: 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. Thursday at Hertz Funeral Home, McClusky, ND.

Betty was born on February 19, 1932 near Goodrich to William and Freida (Brodehl) Mauch. She grew up and attended rural school south of Goodrich. She married Arnold Ervin Berreth on December 17, 1950 at the First Baptist Church in Goodrich. They lived and farmed south of Goodrich. They moved to Oaks, ND in 2002 and to Bismarck in 2005. Arnold died on May 23, 2007. She continued to reside in Bismarck where she lived with her son. Some activities Betty enjoyed were church functions, cooking and baking. Betty was a member of the First Baptist Church, Goodrich.

Betty is survived by her son, Sidney (Linda) Berreth of Bismarck; daughter, Renee (David) Vetter of Haysville, Kansas; four grandchildren, Jeremy Berreth, Sarah Berreth, Joel Vetter, Nathan Vetter; four great-grandchildren, Ashley Berreth, Kolby Berreth, Eli Vetter and Ivory Vetter; sister, Marilyn Kreiter of Bismarck.

Betty was preceded in death by her parents; husband; two brothers, Harold Mauch and Willis Mauch. Blessed be the memory of Betty Jane Berreth.
