Betty Jane Allen 65 of Bismarck formerly of Minot died Tuesday September 13, 2011 at the St. Alexius Hospital of Bismarck.
Funeral services will be held at the Grace Lutheran Church of McClusky on Friday, Sept. 16 at 10:30 a.m.
Visitation will be held at the Hertz Funeral Home of McClusky on Thursday from 2:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m.
Burial will be held at the McClusky City Cemetery.
Betty was born March 22, 1946 in McClusky, daughter of Ted and Emma Lauer. She graduated from McClusky High school in 1964. Betty married Dallas Zeeb they had one son Jayson. Betty worked at the bank of ND for 19 years before moving to Minot where she worked for Farm Credit Services. She retired in 2008.
Betty loved life. She enjoyed spending time with her family, spoiling her grandchildren, playing games and spending time at the lake. Betty was a strong, independent woman who always looked for the positive in any situation even with her long courageous battle with cancer. Betty was a wonderful mother, grandmother and friend. She will be deeply missed.
Betty is survived by her son Jayson (Stacy) Zeeb Bismarck, sister Inez (Jerry) Krein Bismarck, brothers Jerry (Barb) Lauer McClusky, Leslie Lauer Minot, Rodney Lauer Bismarck; grandchildren, Kayla and Jayden Zeeb.
