Bernice (Heizelman) Faul, 92 of Minot formerly of Harvey, ND died Sunday, October 24, 2021 in her apartment.

Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. on Friday October,  29, 2021 at Cornerstone Community Church South Campus in Harvey.  Visitation will be held at the Hertz Funeral Home of Harvey on Thursday October 28, from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. Burial will be in the Country Mennonite Brethren Cemetery, Harvey.

Bernice Eldora Heizelman was born on December 18, 1928 to William and Louise (Frierer) Heizelman in the Sawyer area.  Bernice attended Bible School in Minot.  She also worked at Ellison Department Store and Trinity Hospital in Minot.  She married Robert Faul on October 15, 1953 at the Mennonite Church, rural Sawyer.  They farmed and ranched south of Martin near Coal Mine Lake.  Robert died on January 8, 1997.  Bernice moved to Harvey and lived in the Graumann Apartments until she moved to Minot into an assisted living facility in May 2017.  She was a member of the Mennonite Brethren Church in Harvey and was baptized on July 21, 1940.

Bernice is survived by her sister Geraldine (Leo) Schafer of Minot; stepsister, Jennell (Marvin) Heizelman of Minot; stepbrother Dennis (Georgeanne) Schafer of Delaware; several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Bernice was preceded in death by her husband Robert; parents, stepmother Sophia Heizelman; sisters, Verla (Gideon) Faul; Vida (Myron) Peterson; brother Jerry (Sharon) Heizelman; stepbrother Arlo (Donna) Schafer.
