Barbara Sisson

Barbara Sisson, 73, of Harvey died Friday, June 19, 2026 at her home. Funeral services will be held at the Hertz Funeral Home of Harvey on Saturday, June 27, 2026 at 1:00 p.m. Visitation will be held at the Hertz Funeral Home of Harvey on Friday, June 26, 2026 from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. Burial will be in the Hillside Cemetery of Fessenden. Arrangements are with Hertz Funeral of Harvey.

Barb was born on November 5, 1952 in Minneapolis, Minnesota. She was the daughter of Mike and Hannah (Pedersen) Kuzmik. Barb grew up and attended school in Minneapolis and graduated from Roosevelt High School on June 11, 1970. Barb then married Earl Sisson on August 9, 1973. They lived in Minneapolis. They then moved to Iowa in the early 1990’s. They moved to Fessenden, North Dakota in 1997. Earl passed away on March 1, 2008. Barbara moved to Harvey where she worked at the Wells Sheridan Aging Council in Harvey.

Barbara was a member of the Wells Eagles Arie Auxiliary in Harvey. She enjoyed working at the Senior Center and visiting with people. She also enjoyed shopping.

Barb is survived by her sons, Tony of Fargo, Chris of Harvey; sister, Susan Wilson of Harvey, brother, Mike of Mesa, AZ. Barb was preceded in death by her parents; husband, and infant sister, Phoebe.
