Augustine Pedersen, 98, of Harvey, ND died Tuesday, January 15, 2013 at the Trinity Nursing Home, Minot, ND. Funeral services will be held at the First Lutheran Church of Harvey on Friday January 18, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. Visitation will be held at the Hertz Funeral Home of Harvey on Thursday from 2:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Burial will be held at the Sunnyside Cemetery of Harvey.

Augustine was born on June 4, 1914 near Coal Mine Lake south of Martin, ND. She was the daughter of Wilhelm and Elizabeth (Schaible) Goll. Augustine grew up and attended school near Coal Mine Lake. Augustine married Melvin Pedersen on October 24, 1933 in McClusky. They lived and farmed northwest of Harvey. Melvin died on June 4, 1992 on the family farm northwest of Harvey. Augustine moved to Velva in 2001 and then to the Trinity Nursing Home in Minot in 2009. Augustine enjoyed baking, cooking, embroidering and quilting. She made many quilts for her grandchildren.

Augustine is survived by three sons and daughters-in-law, Marvin and Angeline Pedersen of Velva, Stanley and Lorraine Pedersen of Harvey, Leonard and Sheila Pedersen of Velva; eight grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren.

Augustine was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Melvin; sisters, Elizabeth Horning, Katharina Grabofsky, Hanna Filler, Rosina Murray, Maggie Brandt, Lydia Cook; brothers, Christ Goll, Bill Goll, Henry Goll, Leo Goll. Augustine was also preceded in death by three infant siblings.
