Ashley Farrell, 40, Mandan, ND passed away on Friday, December 17, 2021 in Mandan, ND.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, December 30, at Grace Lutheran Church, McClusky, ND.

Ashley Lee Simes was born March 26, 1981, to Susan (Peterson) and Warren (Tucker) Simes in Bismarck, ND. Ashley grew up in McClusky, ND where she attended school and graduated in 2000.

Ashley was baptized, confirmed and was a member of Grace Lutheran Church in McClusky. Growing up and in her teenage years she loved playing sports, reading, riding horse and spending time with her friends.

Ashley worked as a CNA at St. Aloisius Hospital, Harvey, ND and at Garrison Memorial Hospital, Garrison, ND. Ashley struggled with Type I Diabetes, Mental Health Disorders, and drug addiction most of her adult life.  The one most important and constant thing in Ashley's life was her love for her children.

Ashley is survived by her 4 children, Skylar Marie Simes (Owen Hennager, fiancée), Grenora, ND, Logan George Hartleib, Mandan, ND, Jorja Rayne Farrell, Grenora, ND and Jordan Riley Farrell, Bismarck, ND;  her parents Susan and Tucker Simes, McClusky, ND; sister, Brandi (Josh) Baker, McClusky, ND; great aunts and uncles, Marsha Bauer, Bismarck, ND; Leif and Cindy Peterson, Flagstaff, Arizona and Nels Peterson, Burlington, ND;  aunts and uncles, Connie Peterson, Bismarck, ND; Teresa and Terry Peterson, Bismarck, ND; Patti and Richard Balliet, Avondale, Arizona; Chris and Robin Peterson, McClusky, ND. Many cousins, nieces, and nephews.

Ashley was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, George and Sybil Peterson and paternal grandparents Jackson Fredrick and Hilda Simes.
