Arlen Miiller, 61 of Max, ND formerly of Anamoose died Wedesday, May 17, 2017 at the Trinity Hospital in Minot.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, May 23 at St. Martin's Lutheran Church, Anamoose, ND.

Burial will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Max City Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. Monday at Hertz Funeral Home, Harvey, ND.

Arlen was born on December 2, 1955 in Harvey, ND. He was the son of August "Rusty" and Lillian (Bayer) Miiller. He grew up south of Anamoose and graduated from the Anamoose High School in 1974. He served five years in the Navy including serving on board the USS Kitty Hawk. He was honorably discharged in 1979. He was a cook at Lydia's Café and the Picnic Basket in Minot. For the last 16 years he worked nights at the Walmart in Minot.

He was married to Susan DeLong who preceded him in death.

Arlen is survived by his daughter, Bobbie Miiller of Minot; two grandsons, Jacob and Jamison; two sisters, Leela Sprenger (wife of the late Harold Sprenger) of Anamoose, Julie (Fred) Ponzer of Menoken; three brothers, Lloyd (Diann) Miiller of Hazen, Leon (Hilda) Miiller of Borup, MN, Bob Miiller of Wilton; nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles.

Arlen was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Susan; brother, Jerel Miiller; niece Renee (Miiller) Phillips. He will be deeply missed by his family, friends and coworkers.

In lieu of flowers, memorials to the family are preferred.
