Ariel Pitchford, 12, of Martin died October 2, 2020 in Martin.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday October 8, 2020 at First Lutheran Church of Harvey at 10:30 a.m.

Ariel Shalom Pitchford, daughter of Nathan and Nicole Pitchford, and sister of Mishael Pitchford passed away at the age of 12.  Ariel was born on September 1, 2008 (Labor Day) in Harvey.  She loved art, music (especially Broadway Musicals), animals, nature, and her best friends Mimi and Leona Petrovic.

Ariel means "Light of God" in Hebrew, and she sure was a ray of sunshine in the lives of all who knew her.

Ariel is survived by her parents, Nathan and Nicole Pitchford, her brother Mishael, her paternal grandparents, Stephen and Kay Pitchford, her maternal grandparents, Mark and Lisa Weinert, and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
