Antonia Wentz Bussert, 82, of Fargo, ND formerly of Harvey passed away on December 18, 2018 at Eventide Fargo.

Funeral services will be held at St. Cecilia Catholic Church, Harvey, ND on Friday, December 21 at 10:30 a.m.  Burial will be in the church cemetery.  Visitation will be at the Hertz Funeral Home, Harvey on Thursday from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m.    Prayer services will also be held at the funeral home on Thursday at 8 p.m.

Antonia Angeline Wentz was born on June 27, 1936 on the family farm near Esmond, ND.  She was the daughter of Peter F. and Julia (Ludwig) Wentz.  They lived on the farm for several years.  She attended rural school and high school in Harvey.  As a young woman she was a waitress at Kirton's Café and Harvey Café.  Ann moved to Toppenish, WA where she married and had two children.  She also lived in Mt. Vernon for several years before returning to Harvey where she resumed working at Kirton's Café.  She also worked at a Red Owl store in Devils Lake.  She moved to Williston and in 1970 to Fargo.  She managed a Stop-N-Go in Fargo for several years.  She then started working at the Hi 10 Steakhouse in West Fargo until vision problems resulted in her disability and retirement.  She has continued to reside in Fargo.  She was once married to Bruce Bussert.

Ann is survived by two daughters, Kathy Huckinsmith of Sedro Woolley, Washington and Linda K. Stucks of Burlington, WA; three grandsons, David and Joshua Huckinsmith and Nicholas Butler;  five sisters, Arline Doolittle of Warrensburg, Missouri, Angeline Wentz of Fargo, Beatrice Nelson of Litchfield, MN, Judy Lemer of Fargo, Marlene Meek of West Fargo; four brothers, Ray and Marvin both of Harvey, Vincent of Minot and Albert of Bismarck.  Ann was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Al and Richard; and a sister Beatrice.
