Anthony Martian 78, of Harvey formerly of Helena, Montana died Wednesday October 26, 2016 at the St. Aloisius Hospital of Harvey. Funeral services will be held on Monday October 31, 2016 at 10:30 a.m. at the St. Cecilia Catholic church of Harvey. Visitation will be held at the Hertz Funeral Home of Harvey on Sunday from 2:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Prayer services will be held at the Hertz Funeral Home of Harvey on Sunday at 8:00 p.m. Memorial services will be held in Helena Montana at a later date.

Anthony "Tony" Martian was born on January 19, 1938 in Esmond, ND. He was the son of Anton and Anna (Hoffner) Martian. Tony was one of fourteen children. He graduated from Esmond High School and joined the army. Tony married Bernadine Ripplinger. She died in June of 2013. He spent the greater part of his life as the plant manager for Phillips-Clover Leaf Dairy in Helena, Montana. Tony married Jenny Duffy on December 20, 2014.

Tony had many interests including fast pitch softball, bowling, camping, boating, and spending time with his family.

Tony is survived by his wife, Jenny of Harvey; daughters, Antoinette (Todd) Mee, Denise Martian, Wendy (Troy) Gournay, all of Helena, MT; son, Tony Ray (Susan Ursich) Martian of Missoula, MT; six grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; sisters, Kate Burgard of Wisconsin, Alice Wack of Esmond, Betty Wentz of Federal Way, WA, Jane Gerlach of Enumclaw, WA, and Adella Fiel of Lewistown, MT.

Tony was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Bernadine; siblings, Frank, Edmund, Nick, Violet Nelson, Emma Garman, Annie Skrede, Tommy, Raymond.
