Anna Fandrich, 92 of Aurora, CO died Thursday, May 21, 2015 in a Centennial, CO hospice.
Memorial services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, August 21, 2015 at the Goodrich Seventh-day Adventist Church, Goodrich, ND.
Interment will be in the church cemetery.
Anna was born on August 25, 1922 at Tappen, ND to George and Lydia (Lang) Munsch. She lived with her grandparents until age four and then moved with her parents to a farm near Tuttle, ND. Her dad died in a farming accident and the remaining family moved into Tuttle where she attended school, graduating from the Tuttle High School in 1940. After high school she worked on a farm near Tappen and also on dairy farms near Carrington.
Anna married Gustav Adolph Fandrich on August 25, 1941. They moved to Nevada and later to Sacramento, CA. In August 1943 they moved to a farm near Goodrich. In 1948 they purchased a farm near Chaseley, ND. They sold the farm in 1962 and moved to Lincoln, Nebraska. Anna worked in food service at the Nebraska State Hospital in Lincoln from 1962 to 1985. She retired after her husband had a stroke and they moved to live with her daughter Marlys in Broadview, Illinois. Gust passed away on June 17, 1986. Anna and Marlys moved to Berrien Springs, Michigan. In January 1987 she moved to Colorado and lived with her son, Merlyn in Aurora.
Anna is survived by a daughter, Marlys (Roy) Roberts of Fort Collins, CO; two sons, Marvin Fandrich of Rolla, MO and Merlyn (Janet) Fandrich of Aurora, CO; 12 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; brother, Reuben Munsch of Dickinson, ND; step brother, Donald Dethloff of Coeur d' Alene, Idaho; sister, Esther Leno, Bismarck.
Anna was preceded in death by her parents; husband; two sisters, Alice Hahn and Margaret Munsch; brother, George Munsch, Jr.; three step brothers, John P. Munsch, Edwin Munsch.
