Allen Hirschkorn, 75, rural Wing, ND died Friday, October 7, 2022 at the Sanford Hospital in Bismarck.  Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, October 11 at the Hurdsfield Community Center, Hurdsfield, ND.  Visitation will be Monday from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. at Hertz Funeral Home, Harvey, ND.  Burial will be in the Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Hurdsfield, ND.

Allen Lee Hirschkorn was born on April 3, 1947 at Harvey, ND to Alfred and Norma (Lange) Hirschkorn.  He grew up on the family farm south of Hurdsfield.  Allen attended country school and the Hurdsfield school.  He later obtained his GED.  Allen married Darlene Hoff on July 5, 1967 in Minot.  They lived near Wing.  He worked for many farmers and ranchers in the area.  He also worked on building the McClusky Canal and was a custodian at the Goodrich school.

Allen is survived by his wife, Darlene; children, Kari (Dave) Clauson of Hermantown, MN, James (Becky) of Wing, Darci (Jay) Gahner of McClusky; Lance of Wing; 12 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren with two more on the way; two step great-grandchildren; sister-in-law Judy Hirschkorn, and brother-in-law, Ken Fetch.  Allen was preceded in death by his parents; son Todd; grandson A.J. Clauson; brother, Rodney; sisters Sandra Schmitt and Ronda Fetch; brother-in-law, Willis Schmitt.

Memorials are preferred to the Wing Ambulance or the Pleasant Hill Cemetery.   Arrangements with Hertz Funeral Home, Harvey, ND.
