Alberta "Bert" Voegele, 70, of McClusky, ND died suddenly on Monday, January 24, 2022 at her home.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, January 29, 2022 at Holy Family Catholic Church, McClusky, ND.  Burial will be in the spring.

Visitation will be from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. followed by a prayer service at 7 p.m. on Friday, January 28 at the Holy Family Catholic Church.

Bert was born on July 31, 1951 in St. Paul, MN to Aloysius and Regina (Rohrich) Moszer.  The family lived there briefly before moving to Bismarck.  Bert graduated from the Bismarck High School in 1969.  She married William "Bill" Voegele on July 31, 1971 at the Church of St. Anne in Bismarck.  They moved to a farm southwest of McClusky and took over the Voegele family farm.  They have continued to live there since.  In addition to being a homemaker she worked at Nodak Insurance, Northern Tax Services, C-Store, operated ABC Daycare, and Polarware all in McClusky.  She also worked at TJ Maxx and Hallmark in Bismarck. Eight years ago she bought the drive-in in McClusky and renamed it "Bertsies."  Bert's hobbies included crafting and baking.  She would babysit her grandchildren, spoiling them at the same time.  She was an avid supporter of her children and grandchildren's school and extracurricular activities.  Her hospitality extended far and wide and she was known for feeding everyone!

Bert was a member of the Holy Family Catholic Church.  She served on the Pickard Township and Farm Bureau boards, local craft fair coordinator, active as a 4-H Leader and SCiPY. If there was a local benefit one could count on Bert being the coordinator.

Bert is survived by her husband, Bill; daughters, Teresa (Trent) Naser; Andrea (Jeremy) Lauer and Erin (Brandon) Lauer all of McClusky; six grandchildren; Alexandra and Kaleigh Naser, Jayce and Brayden Lauer, and Daphne and Brooklyn Lauer; four sisters, Arlene (Richard) Vranicar, Lincoln, ND, Linda (Ronald) Ehrlich, Jamestown, Peggy (John) Zambrano, Woodbury, MN, and Vicki (Randy) Schillinger, Colorado Springs, CO; five brothers, Larry (Brenda), Lincoln, ND, Tom (Joyce), Bob, and Terry (Tanya), all of Bismarck, Aloysius (Christie), Watertown, SD; nieces and nephews.

Bert was preceded in death by her daughter, Lucinda; parents; brother Michael; and niece Lynsey.
